Lesson1. History and Facts about Sexual Violence
After reviewing information, students create a presentation explaining sexual violence. They share the presentations with family, friends, their communities, other students.

Lesson 2. How to Prevent Date Rape and Sexual Assault from People You Know
Students read a short story of a girl facing an assault from her friend. Students discuss ways that young people can avoid or escape this kind of violence. They write their own plan for how to escape a dangerous situation. They learn the myths and realities of sexual violence in community settings.

Lesson 3. Declaration of Student Rights for Sexual Safety
Students read national and international declaration of rights for sexual safety for children and adolescents. In groups, they create a list of ideas for a declaration they could submit to their school to guarantee that their sexual safety.

Lesson 4. The Second Rape
It is not often discussed, but it can be more severe than the actual rape. So often, after a young person suffers an abuse and tells their family and friends, they are not comforted and supported, but abused again. There are many stories of how the abused person is blamed, ignored, isolated, ridiculed, or even punished. This lesson allows young people to create ways that they can be supportive of friends or family who suffer sexual violence.

Lesson 5. United Against Sexual Violence – #MeToo
Students learn about the MeToo movement – how survivors are exposing their abusers — breaking the silence. Students explore ways to work together to expose and prevent violence. They create songs, poems, and phrases of empowerment about resisting and exposing violence.

Lesson 1. My Body and My Private Parts
Caregivers help young children learn the proper names for breasts, hips, peins, and vagina.

Lesson 2. My Private Parts are Mine. No Touching.
Families discuss when and how we experience good touching, and when touching is inappropriate. Children practice saying ‘Yes” to good touching and “No” to inappropriate touching.

Lesson 3: Designated Safe Adult
Families help children identify at least three older people who only touch them in loving ways and to whom they can talk to if they are afraid.

Lesson 4: Say ‘NO’ to Bucko
Families make puppets out of simple materials (a brown bag, a paper plate, a drawing on a stick). The presenter has a sock puppet named Bucko. A script is provided where Bucko, who is inappropriate, discusses games he can play with the children. If he suggests an inappropriate game, like taking off their clothes, the children make their own puppets yell, “NO!” When bucko asks the children if they want to touch his butt, they yell, “You don’t have a butt, Bucko. You’re a sock!”
